Established in 2004, RCi is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, led by a dynamic leadership and supported by a dedicated team of professional staff. Differences between qualified and unqualified accountants
You may have seen (or even used) firms offering accounting, tax and payroll services, calling themselves accountants, but in reality they are not qualified with any of the main accountancy bodies in the UK. The dangers these firms present include limited expertise, little or no insurance cover, no professional oversight, and they normally lack the resources necessary to advise you in complex matters or effectively deal with HMRC investigations. As they are not regulated the quality of their work is largely down to luck. They may charge lower fees, but you tend to pay much more in the end!
RCi are qualified accountants, regulated by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), with more than £2 million worth of Professional Indemnity Insurance, and regularly monitored by the Quality Assurance Department of the ICAEW to maintain both standards and quality.
